Job Description

Join our team in the Emergency Department at Methodist Texsan Hospital, where you will provide critical care to patients in urgent need. The facility features a 13-bed Emergency Department with an additional fast track area for low acuity patients. You will work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assess their medical needs.
• Administer medications and perform life-saving interventions as necessary.
• Provide care procedures such as splinting and wound care.
• Utilize equipment including vitals machines, EKG machines, and transport monitors.
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.

Required Experience

• Previous experience working in an Emergency Department is essential.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must have TNCC, ACLS, BLC, and PALS certifications.
