ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Corpus Christi, Texas.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

7PM to 7AM, 12-hour night shifts.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Emergency Department, where you will play a vital role in providing emergency care to low acuity patients. This unit features 16 beds and additional hall chairs, facilitating efficient patient management. You will work closely with a team of 6-7 staff members per shift, including a charge nurse, triage nurse, and various nursing support roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and documentation.
• Administer medications and manage wound care.
• Perform various clinical procedures including IV insertions, urine collection, and lab draws.
• Provide care for Emergency Severity Index (ESI) levels 1 to 5.
• Participate in mandatory shift huddles.

Required Experience

• Experience in emergency department nursing.
• Strong skills in compassion, urgency, and teamwork.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license in state of Texas.
• TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
• Preferred certifications include CEN or TCRN and CPI.
