Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the telemetry unit, monitoring their vital signs and responding promptly to any changes in their condition. The role requires a high level of communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and conducting assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient condition continuously.
- Provide medical care and treatment based on established best practices.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and promptly.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including prior travel experience. Local candidates will not be considered.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required.
