3, 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend and holiday requirements as needed.
Job Description
Join the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute Inpatient Step Down Unit, providing care for higher acuity neuroscience patients, including those with strokes, seizures, and those undergoing craniotomies. This role requires strong neuro experience and expertise in caring for stroke patients. The documentation system utilized is EPIC.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for neuro patients in a step-down setting.
- Monitor and manage patient health, implementing NIHSS as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, including titratable drips as per physician's orders.
Required Experience
- Strong overall neuro experience.
- History of caring for stroke patients.
- Experience with EVDs is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification (must have at time of submission).
- ACLS certification is preferred.
