Job Description
The Emergency Department at ER 24/7 Rockport is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join its team. This unit consists of 6 rooms and 4 vertical beds, supported by a dedicated staff of 10 FTEs and 4 PRN professionals. The ED is equipped with vital sign machines, BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, ortho glass, and AEDs, utilizing Meditech for electronic medical records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform IV blood draws and EKGs.
- Insert Foley catheters and apply ortho splints.
- Provide wound care to patients.
Required Experience
- Experience in a Fast Track Emergency Department setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Must have current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
