Day Shift: 3x12 Hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30).

Job Description

This position involves working in Labor and Delivery, encompassing care for patients in various stages of childbirth, postpartum care, OB triage, antepartum care, and care for normal newborns. Candidates should be comfortable with both vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, as well as circulating in the OR. Experience with adult IV starts, blood and blood product administration, and management of epidural pumps and PCA pumps is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in Labor and Delivery, including antepartum and postpartum care.
• Perform and assist in vaginal and Cesarean deliveries.
• Monitor and maintain clinical equipment and assist with high-risk deliveries.
• Administer medications, including blood products and controlled substances.
• Participate in patient triage and provide support in OB triage settings.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, and Newborn care.
• Experience floating between units as required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Compact RN license in hand at submission.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP.
