ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Respiratory Med-Surg (Night Shift) in Zanesville, Ohio.

Schedule/Shift

36 hours per week | Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join our dynamic 21-bed Respiratory Med-Surg unit, specializing in the management and care of adult patients with pulmonary diseases. This high-acuity unit is designed for individuals requiring extensive medical and surgical care, including continuous telemetry monitoring. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population and rapid patient turnover.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote high-quality patient outcomes.
• Float to similar Med-Surg units as needed, including areas such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders.

Required Experience

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience.
• Proven ability to read and interpret telemetry strips (competency test required on Day 1).
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
