ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Zanesville, Ohio.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. No call requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will primarily work on the Respiratory unit, where COVID patients are admitted. The RN may also float occasionally between various Medical-Surgical units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. Proficiency in the Epic EMR system is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Respiratory unit and supporting Med-Surg units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate patient care plans.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Telemetry skills, as testing will occur on the first day.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care management.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
• Ability to read Telemetry; will be tested for this skill upon hire.
• Active BLS certification.
• Valid Ohio RN license required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active BLS certification.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
