This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Varied shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, 3-11. Every other weekend and call required one or two times per week in 8-hour increments.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room will serve a diverse patient population across all ages in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room environment.
• Monitor patient conditions and responses before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist in surgical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC electronic health record system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• CPI/HWC certification preferred.
