ARMStaffing is looking for a Cath Lab Tech, Cardiac Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

4 ten-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM in the Cath Lab, and 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM in the Operating Room. On-call rotation is required 1-2 days a week and rotating weekend call every 3-4 weeks depending on staffing.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will assist physicians during percutaneous procedures for cardiac and vascular care in a sterile environment. Responsibilities include performing basic EKG interpretation, maintaining sterile technique, conducting hemodynamic monitoring, and operating fluoroscopy equipment with C-arm and imaging processing. The candidate will utilize the EPIC electronic health record system and learn various equipment and products required for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician during percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Perform basic EKG interpretation and pass the facility's EKG test.
• Maintain sterile technique in all procedures.
• Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and fluoroscopy.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record effectively.

Required Experience

• Experience in a Cath Lab or related clinical environment preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: BLS, ACLS, and either CCI-RCIS or ARRT RT certification.
