Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in catheterization procedures under the direction of the physician.
• Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
• Maintain accurate records and update patient charts as needed.
• Coordinate with nursing and medical staff to ensure seamless care delivery.

Required Experience

• Experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS and BLS Certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) not required.
• Licensure to practice as required by state regulations.
