ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical Step Down Unit (Night Shift) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Schedule/Shift

Night Shift: 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, three shifts per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a Medical Step Down Unit that accommodates 6-20 beds. The unit will focus on patients with conditions such as Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy. RNs may also be required to float to all Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) units, particularly 5J and 12A.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with various medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with facility policies.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
