Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 AM to 12 AM with call included.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and service excellence while performing a variety of tasks related to imaging procedures. The position requires direct interaction with patients to ensure comfort and understanding throughout the process. Responsibilities include the maintenance of equipment, supplies, and adherence to all safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtain necessary medical supplies for procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintain the sterility of the field and instruments.
• Prepare and verify patient requisitions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families during all phases of the procedure.
• Ensure patient identification is verified in accordance with AHS policy.
• Observe and evaluate patient conditions before and after contrast injections.
• Ensure availability of medical records and previous imaging reports.
• Maintain adequate linen and imaging supplies in scanning rooms.
• Participate in inventory management and maintenance of the CT storeroom.
• Assist in routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Adhere to venipuncture and power injector protocols.
• Notify appropriate staff of any equipment malfunctions.
• Participate in emergency response processes when required.

Required Experience

• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT RT (R) and ARRT RT (CT) certification.
• New Jersey State X-Ray License.
• BLS Certification.
