ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Outpatient (Day Shift) in Lakewood, Colorado.

Assignment Duration

This is a 6-month contract position.

Schedule/Shift

2 patients per hour, generally 45 minutes or more per patient. Initial evaluations and safety patients are a full hour of one-on-one care.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. The role includes delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring designs of functional treatment programs that promote effective community activity reintegration. The therapist will serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves while upholding the organization's mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document care in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in student programs and provide supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in continuous professional development and maintain licensure.
• Promote patient and employee safety in all clinical interactions.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

Must maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
