Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include managing therapy services for assigned patients, designing functional treatment programs for community reintegration, and educating patients, families, and staff. The therapist will ensure compliance with organizational standards, including patient and employee safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans focused on patient discharge.
• Document medical records clearly and timely, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Oversee treatment provided under valid physician orders and insurance approvals.
• Participate in student education and provide a supportive learning environment.
• Develop a personalized professional growth plan and pursue ongoing education.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Active CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state license for physical therapy.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Colorado.
