Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:00. Must commit to working 3 out of 6 weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Emergency Department, covering an Observation Unit that holds ER patients. The average daily census is 105, with 135 visits per day. Nurses will be expected to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in the Observation Unit.
• Manage and monitor patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the Epic charting system.
• Participate in ongoing education and training as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current California state nursing license required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are required.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.
