Job Description
The Registered Nurse will deliver nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care and practice. This role requires strong cardiac experience and proficiency, with the responsibility to float as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care following established protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document all care provided and changes in patient condition accurately.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
Required Experience
- 2 years of Step Down experience.
- Strong cardiac experience/proficiency.
- Willingness to float as needed.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Current Michigan RN license.
