ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Westerville, Ohio.

Schedule/Shift

Scheduled for 3 twelve-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required, split evenly among the group.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role includes monitoring patient status, ensuring surgical readiness, and collaborating with surgical teams to prioritize patient safety and care throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Prepare patients and the Operating Room for surgical procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients' health during and post-procedure.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and standards for operating room operations.

Required Experience

• Current RN license.
• Experience in a surgical or operating room setting preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Additional certifications related to perioperative nursing are a plus.
