Operating Room Registered Nurse - Dayshift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, from 06:00 AM to 06:30 PM.

Job Description

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and sterile environment, assisting surgeons during operations, and ensuring patient comfort and safety before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and communicate any changes to the surgical team.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
• Assist with patient positioning and draping during surgery.
• Administer medications and fluid therapy as necessary.
• Provide post-operative care and education to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state RN license.
• Previous experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
