ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Dayton, Ohio.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including occasional weekend coverage as needed.

Job Description

This position involves working in the Operating Room, providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with the surgical team, ensuring patient safety and comfort while assisting in various surgical procedures. Experience in a pediatric setting is essential, as well as proficiency in relevant clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist in the positioning of patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience.
• Pediatric experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications must be held at the time of application.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact license required.
