Night Shift, 6 PM to 6 AM, every other weekend.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise and compassion, ensuring safe deliveries and effective postpartum care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the health of mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
- Provide support and education to families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief methods.
- Document patient care and communicate effectively with the team.
- Provide assistance on the Medical/Surgical unit as needed.
Required Experience
- Current and valid RN license.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
