Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during labor and childbirth. The role may also involve providing assistance in the Medical-Surgical unit when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the health status of patients throughout labor and delivery.
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Contribute to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed.
Required Experience
- Current RN license in New York.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
