ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift) in Wilson, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every other or every third weekend required. Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours.

Job Description

Join the nursing team in a telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric patients. You will provide essential care involving EKG interpretation and critical thinking in a supportive environment. Familiarity with Meditech EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the telemetry unit.
• Manage admissions and discharges, including post-cardiac catheterization care.
• Administer cardiac drips with appropriate knowledge.
• Collaborate with a team-oriented approach to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize relevant equipment such as Welch Allyn V/S machines and Baxter IV pumps.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience, with a strong focus on telemetry or critical care settings.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Valid RN license applicable to the state of North Carolina.
