Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide critical care in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, focusing on patients with severe cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will possess an Epic experience and be comfortable with ICU environments.

Candidates are required to wear navy blue scrubs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and manage patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, with preferred experience in Cardiac ICUs.

Certifications/Licensure

Active RN license in New York State. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
