Job Description

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team. In this role, nurses provide specialized care across a range of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with various cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure. Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, procedural support, hemodynamic monitoring, moderate-sedation recovery, and management of acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment committed to exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide education.
• Deliver procedural support and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Manage moderate-sedation recovery.
• Actively manage acute and non-acute clinical situations.

Required Experience

• Telemetry experience.
• Recent Cath and EP Lab experience preferred.
• CVICU/Cardiac Care experience is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License (NY License ONLY).
• BLS (AHA) certification is required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification is required.
