ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Rotating Shifts) in Rochester, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

36 or 48 hours per week, rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, and call-back responsibilities.

Job Description

This is a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) at a state-of-the-art facility managing over 100,000 visits annually. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the area, the RN will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population and assisting with boarder patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a high-volume emergency department.
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Document patient interactions and care provided in compliance with hospital policies.

Required Experience

• Currently holding an RN License in New York State.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an emergency department.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Previous travel experience in an emergency department is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certification required.
