ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Rochester, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
36 or 48 hours per week, Straight Nights. Must be available to float on weekends, holidays, on-call, callbacks, and charge per unit needs.
Job Description
The role involves working in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department at a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits annually, recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the area, the position requires treating a diverse patient population, including assistance with boarder patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in emergency procedures and interventions as needed.
- Support the management of boarder patients in the ED.
Required Experience
- Current RN license in New York.
- Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience.
- Telemetry experience is required.
- Previous travel ER experience is mandatory.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NIHSS certification is required.
