Schedule/Shift

Shifts start between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, with a general expectation of 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and an occasional weekend shift.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will work in the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at a 330-bed facility, primarily handling acute care patients with cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic diagnoses. The role involves evaluations, treatment plans, and rehabilitation interventions using basic rehab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and implement treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of rehabilitation equipment including portable parallel bars and ceiling lifts.
• Work collaboratively within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
• Document patient interactions and progress using the Sunrise Allscripts documentation system.

Required Experience

• Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy License.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in acute care settings is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• New Hampshire Physical Therapy License.
• BLS certification.
