ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Inpatient Rehabilitation (Day Shift) in Derry, New Hampshire.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Schedule consists of 36 hours per week, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, rotating weekends, and the option to work four, nine-hour days if preferred.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The unit has 86 beds with an average patient ratio of 10 patients per therapist. The therapist will use the Meditech Expanse documentation system and work alongside experienced unit staff with tenure of over 10 years, including co-treats with Occupational Therapists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation patients.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols as necessary based on patient progress.
• Work collaboratively with other rehabilitation staff, including Occupational Therapy.
• Document patient interactions and progress using the Meditech Expanse system.

Required Experience

• Must have acute inpatient Physical Therapy experience.
• Proven ability to evaluate and prioritize a caseload effectively.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current New Hampshire Physical Therapist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
