Thursday - Sunday (2x8s & 2x12s)
Thursday: 1:30pm - 10:00pm
Friday: 1:30pm - 10:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am - 7:30pm
Sunday: 7:00am - 7:30pm

Job Description

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently operate MRI machines and make patients feel comfortable before and during scanning procedures. This role requires coordination with patients' physicians to ensure timely results and familiarity with medical terminology. Technologists must also be prepared to undertake patient care tasks as needed and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Experience with Level 1 Trauma Centers.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
• Must have GE scanner experience to be considered.
• NY License required.
