ARMStaffing is looking for an MRI Technologist, Radiology (Evening Shift) in Rochester, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires working evening shifts from Thursday to Sunday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Scheduling flexibility of one weekend shift per week may be requested.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures with a strong focus on patient care and safety. The role includes operating the GE Signa 1.5 Tesla machine and ensuring the efficient workflow of the imaging department while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism in imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans and ensure high-quality imaging results.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information.
• Ensure all safety and quality control procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience.
• Experience using the GE Signa 1.5 Tesla machine.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the U.S. for non-U.S. candidates.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must hold ARRT, ARRT(N), CNMT, or RDMS certification.
• NYS Radiology Tech license certified to perform IV injections is required.
• AHA BLS certification is also required.
