ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical (Day Shift) in Henderson, North Carolina.

12 Hour Day Shift, from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will manage a patient load with a ratio of 1:6 and will utilize Paragon EHR for documentation. The unit includes 48 beds and cares primarily for adult patients. Responsibilities may require occasional floating to inpatient rehab or the ER for task support.

Responsibilities

• Initiate IVs and insert Foley catheters and NG tubes as required.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and manage heparin drips.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions in the EHR system (Paragon).
• Conduct EKGs and respond to changes in patient health status.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Completion of at least 1 travel assignment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• ACLS and NIH certifications are preferred.
