Schedule/Shift

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, scheduled for 36 hours per week, with 24 hours guaranteed. Banner may cancel 1 shift.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide high-quality care to patients with moderate to severe medical issues. Candidates are expected to float between the Boswell and Del Webb campuses, with Boswell as the primary site. Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility in locations, shifts, and departments to enhance the potential for timely offers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a progressive care unit setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with at least 12 months recent experience.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Arizona state nursing license with no violations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
