Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care (IMC) to join our team at a community hospital in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and features 171 beds, maintaining a focus on comprehensive care including a Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma services.

The RN will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, and Acute Respiratory Failure.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the IMC unit according to established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient conditions using the Medhost EHR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and call requirements.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current state RN license required.
• BLS certification must be up to date.
