Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Pre-Operative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing to join our team in Arcata, CA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the pre-op and PACU settings, providing exceptional care to patients before and after surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assess patients prior to surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients in the PACU and provide appropriate care during recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care.
Required Experience
Candidates must have 1-2 years of experience in the Pre-Op and PACU settings.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current California RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- TB clearance obtained within the past 12 months.
