Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 24-bed adult medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of med/surg experience and will be responsible for developing and implementing total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans. This role includes providing leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing standards in the clinical setting. You will also develop systems to provide care across a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with holiday shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total nursing care for patients including assessments and care planning.
• Facilitate collaboration among nursing and other healthcare personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice.

Required Experience

6 months of medical-surgical experience required.

Certifications / Licensure

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
