Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with critical care experience to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in various settings, including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Emergency Room (ER), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate should be proficient in medication administration, aerosol setup, and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in the ER, PICU, and NICU.
• Administer medications through inhalation and assist with airway management.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and make necessary adjustments to therapy.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Pediatric Critical Care and respiratory care.
• Experience with emergency respiratory procedures and settings.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current RRT license in South Carolina.
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS.
