Night shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist with critical care experience to join our dynamic team. This role will involve providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in various settings including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Emergency Room (ER), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in managing ventilators and delivering aerosol treatments, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to pediatric patients.
• Utilize medication systems including Pyxis and Omnicell effectively.
• Document patient care and treatment in the EPIC system.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Float to other units as required based on census needs and qualifications.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care settings, including ER, PICU, and NICU.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system.

Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess RRT license for South Carolina.
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required.
