12-hour Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on designated weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday) with required holidays.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our 7 West Stepdown/MedSurg unit. This unit features a total of 32 beds, including 12 Stepdown beds and 20 MedSurg beds, and provides care for patients with common diagnoses such as chest pain, COPD, and pneumonia, among others.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor patients and perform assessments as required.
- Titrate medications and manage patient drips in the Stepdown unit.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including Charge Nurses and House Supervisors.
- Read telemetry strips and assist with patient management under the guidance of telemetry monitor techs.
Required Experience
- Experience in Stepdown and MedSurg nursing.
Certifications / Licensure
- BLS Certification required.
- Current RN license to practice in the state.
