4-10 hour days or 5-8 hour days per week. No weekends or holidays.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will conduct a physical therapy plan of care to facilitate the rehabilitation of patients suffering from disabilities caused by disease, injury, dysfunction, or other physical, cognitive, or perceptual limitations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish appropriate treatment goals.
• Plan and carry out treatment plans, documenting evaluations and treatments accurately and timely.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Attendants in accordance with state laws and department work instructions.
• Assist the manager with budgeting, yearly department goals, revising work instructions, in-service training and education, and improving patient satisfaction survey scores.
• Supervise and mentor volunteers and/or students according to department work instructions and APTA guidelines.

Required Experience

One year of experience preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program and possess a valid license to practice in the state of Ohio.
