Job Description

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans aligned with patient needs and physician direction. You will be responsible for the delegation and direction of specific therapy services, ensuring that functional treatment programs are designed for effective community reintegration. You will serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues, performing other professional duties as necessary to facilitate patient care and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address discharge barriers.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions as needed.
• Ensure clear, concise, accurate, and timely medical record documentation.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Actively pursue professional development and advocacy efforts.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is highly desired.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current, valid State license required.
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
