12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 8 Northeast (8NE) unit, which specializes in medical/surgical/trauma care. The unit provides high-quality care to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic fractures, as well as complex wound management and advanced diabetic management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a step-down unit.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) drips, including titratable medications such as Cardizem and Amiodarone.
• Provide care for patients requiring advanced respiratory support, including BiPAP and chronic ventilation.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure proper documentation using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience

Strong assessment skills and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification is also required.
• Active RN licensure.
