Requirements: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period, holiday rotation

Job Description

We are seeking a registered nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This unit is equipped with 34 beds, providing care for patients with cardiac and neuro conditions. You will be responsible for telemetry monitoring and managing patients on vasoactive drips, high-flow oxygen therapy, and post-cardiac procedure care.

Responsibilities

• Interpret telemetry readings and manage cardiac and neuro patients
• Provide bedside shift reports and practice hourly rounding
• Participate in rapid response situations
• Utilize advanced medical equipment including PCA pumps and Alaris IV infusion pumps

Required Experience

• Experience in a PCU or equivalent telemetry unit
• Strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting

Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
