Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working every other weekend and every other holiday, if needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (Adult) at our state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical skill set and the ability to manage a variety of emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and starting/maintaining IVs.
• Manage patients requiring CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator support.
• Conduct cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Provide emergency care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Implement isolation precautions and conduct triage for incoming patients.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an emergency department setting.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be current.
