Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Emergency Department (ER) with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The successful candidate will provide care to patients across various acuity levels and will be expected to float when census warrants.
Responsibilities
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Blood product administration and central line care/management.
- Phlebotomy and starting IVs, including continuous IV paralytics and sedation.
- Administration of emergency medications and procedural sedation monitoring.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and assist in obtaining 12 lead EKGs.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
- Must hold a valid NY RN license.
