Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Tele/IMC position within our Float Pool. The RN will assist in various medical-surgical units and intermediate care units, ensuring quality care for patients across specialties. This role demands a strong background in telemetry and intermediate care nursing.
Responsibilities
- Float between Med/Surg, IMC, observation, trauma surgical, and other assigned units.
- Provide care for patients with diverse conditions, including acute respiratory distress, septic shock, severe congestive heart failure, and post-operative care following various surgeries.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs, including cardiac telemetry.
- Perform assessment and management of complex patient care situations.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience in a hospital setting.
- At least 2 years of experience in an IMC unit.
- Comfortable managing patient care ratios of 1:4 to 1:6.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Recent Epic experience is mandatory.
