Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

The RN position in the Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool requires recent Epic experience and a willingness to float from Med/Surg units to IMC units. Candidates must be comfortable working with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 and handling various acute medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care and medications following established protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
• Assist with patient mobility and activities of daily living.
• Provide care for patients experiencing acute illnesses such as respiratory distress and heart failure.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Document all patient interactions and care using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of Telemetry experience required.
• 2+ years of IMC unit experience in a hospital setting is mandatory.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Recent Med/Surg Tele experience in a hospital setting.
• Flu shot and a 2-step PPD are necessary before assignment.
