Job Description
The Oncology ICU unit is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to care for critically ill patients. The unit accommodates 10 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1. The RN will be expected to manage care including turning patients, titrating drips, and executing dressing changes and trach care.
Responsibilities
- Provide total care for critically ill patients, including monitoring and administering medications.
- Titrate intravenous drips and manage patients on ventilators and BiPAP.
- Perform dressing changes and trach care as needed.
Required Experience
- Strong ICU experience with the ability to manage critically ill patients.
- Experience in titrating drips and working with patients on vents and BiPAP.
Certifications / Licensure
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
