Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. You will be part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Our ICU unit is equipped with 14 beds, and you will be responsible for managing critically ill patients and providing exceptional medical and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ICU patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain documentation in the Meditech system as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (Temp licenses are no longer accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Experience with administering vasopressors is preferred.
• Meditech experience is a plus.
