Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to cardiovascular intensive care patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. You will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership while ensuring the safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to cardiovascular intensive care patients.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state and hospital requirements.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience

At least 2 years of nursing experience, including prior travel experience.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active RN license.
